Acapulco Tour + Historical Museum Visit
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the designated time and set off on our tour of Acapulco, the Pearl of the Pacific.
First of all, we'll visit the Chapel of Peace, located on El Guitarrón Hill, which surrounds the bay. There we'll see its enormous 42-meter-high cross, as well as the bronze sculpture of Las Manos de la Hermandad, and then we'll go into the center of Acapulco to discover its main attractions.
The next stop will be at the Acapulco Historical Museum, which is located inside the Fort of San Diego, built in the 17th century to protect the city from pirate attacks. Here we'll take a tour through the history of this Mexican city, reviewing its occupations and learning about the most important events that have taken place in Acapulco.
Afterwards, we'll head to the iconic Flamingos Hotel, where famous Hollywood celebrities such as Cary Grant and Gregory Peck have stayed. The last stop of our tour of Acapulco will be the handicraft market, very close to the port. Here you'll have free time to stroll around the shops - it's the perfect place to find a souvenir of your travels!
Finally, you'll be dropped off at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.
