A short 5-minute walk from the famous La Boca Walkway is the Florio Wine Cellar, a standout location in Buenos Aires within the wine tourism world.
This particular wine cellar specializes in Mendoza wines, Argentina's most important region when considering wine production. At this winery, we'll also encounter locally sourced olive oil, made in the region as well.
During our tasting experience, we'll try a few varieties of Mendoza wines, depending on which option you select. Regardless of your choice, it will surely be an unforgettable experience in La Boca neighborhood!
When booking your wine-tasting experience of Mendoza wines in La Boca, you can choose from the following options:
We'll learn about Mendoza's winemaking tradition while tasting 4 wines during this tasting.
Depending on availability or the season, these wines will be of different varieties: red, white, sparkling, sweet, or liqueur. Throughout the tasting, we'll also talk about the different types of grapes grown in Mendoza and why Malbec grapes are important.
In addition, we'll taste an olive oil made in Mendoza and indulge in a delicious Sambayón ice cream.
If you opt for this option, we'll sample the same products as mentioned before, plus one more variety. In total, we'll sample 5 Mendoza wine varieties.
The tasting will be paired with a board of cured meats and cheeses, all locally sourced. It's sure to be a treat for the palate!

As with the other tasting options, we'll talk about general curiosities of Argentine wines, and Mendoza wines in particular, learning how to differentiate them by taking into account their nuances of color, aroma, and taste on the palate.
