Tour Details
Are you ready to conquer the highest peak in Búzios? Our journey begins at Praça Santos Dumont, where we’ll meet at the scheduled time before boarding our vehicle to reach the starting point of the Serra das Emerências trail — a true natural treasure waiting to be explored!
We'll start our route with an invigorating uphill hike, immersing us in the lush beauty of this unique part of eastern Brazil. As we climb, we’ll discover the region's biodiversity, home to one of the few remaining areas of the Atlantic Forest in Búzios. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of native flora and fauna along the way!
Before you know it, we’ll reach an altitude of 164 meters (538 ft), where an awe-inspiring panoramic view awaits. From this stunning vantage point, you’ll have a sweeping view of the Búzios peninsula, with its golden beaches and the vast blue ocean stretching endlessly into the horizon. On clear days, you might even spot the nearby islands!
Once we’ve soaked in the breathtaking views, we’ll begin our descent and head to José Gonçalves beach. Here, you’ll have time to unwind by the sea, take a refreshing dip, sunbathe, and — if it’s an afternoon hike — enjoy the magical colors of the sunset over the water.
After 2 to 3 hours of adventure, we’ll return to our starting point at Praça Santos Dumont.
