On this tour through the art galleries of Guadalajara, we'll discover the fascinating art world of the city accompanied by an art historian and art consultant.

Tour Highlights

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Cup Cafe, a cosy café owned by a talented local painter who also uses the space as his studio. You can enjoy a coffee or herbal tea while chatting with the artist—the perfect way to start our tour!

Along the way, we'll discover 3 galleries and 3 art studios. Visits will depend on the availability of the artists and the exhibitions in the galleries.

After the first 2 galleries, we'll take a short break to refresh ourselves. Here, you can enjoy 2 drinks to recharge your batteries before continuing our artistic exploration.

Here are the places we usually visit:

Sepia Gallery: opened in 2022, this gallery offers frequently changing exhibitions featuring works by both established and emerging local artists. Plus, we'll meet a young local sculptor in his studio and chat about his fascinating work.
Tenango Cafe: this café hosts exhibitions of prints and paintings by local artists—a space full of creativity and talent!
La Bodega: a warehouse-style studio that is home to an amazing young ceramicist and one of the city's leading painters. Both artists, along with their assistants, will share their creative processes with you.
Taller Casa Gato: a hidden studio where two painters work in a variety of styles. We'll have the opportunity to talk with them to better admire their artwork.
Unnamed Studio: this small studio is where two of Guadalajara's most ambitious young artists work in painting, printmaking, ceramics and other media. Their explanations of their work will leave you fascinated.
No Somos Nada: this hidden spot has an art gallery and studio spaces for seven of the most energetic and creative young local artists, who will be happy to share their stories with you!
La Extension: this large group studio, which opened in September 2023, is literally 'an extension' of other studios and galleries. The works and artists here are constantly changing, with paintings, sculptures, two printmaking studios and more. Don't be surprised if there is a party or special event starting during our visit... You'll be invited to join in the fun!

After 3.5 hours of touring Guadalajara's galleries and studios, we'll bring our tour to an end.
