At the indicated time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Huatulco and set off for San José del Pacífico to discover one of the most beautiful mountain areas of Mexico!
During the three-hour drive to our destination, we'll enjoy the scenery and the beauty of the villages of the southern highlands of Oaxaca. We'll see ocote pine forests, holm oak forests, blue mahoe, mosses, mushrooms and small streams... You'll love the biodiversity of this place!
Before we arrive, we’ll make a stop in the small town of San Mateo Río Hondo, where you can have breakfast on your own. After refueling, we’ll head to the San Mateo bakery, where we’ll learn how their products are made. Our next stop will be at the Ámate chocolate shop, where we’ll treat ourselves to a delicious chocolate tasting.
We’ll continue the tour until we reach San José del Pacífico, a community located at one of the highest points in the southern mountains of Oaxaca, 2,350 meters above sea level! Here, you’ll have free time to have lunch on your own. After refueling, we’ll head to a swing that looks out over the abyss, where anyone who wants to can enjoy this experience at their own pace. You’ll love it!
Finally, after a 12-hour tour, we'll wrap up the tour by dropping you off at your hotel in Huatulco.
