Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and make our way to Ventanilla, a tiny municipality found an hour and a half away from the Huatulco bays. Did you know that a small window that has formed in the rocks over the years gives this town its name?
Once there, we'll take a walking tour through the Ventanilla Natural Protected Reserve, where you can make the most of the natural beauty around you. Here, the inhabitants themselves have created a crocodile sanctuary, where they reproduce, with the young crocodiles nursed to be released once they have grown.
After a 15-minute walk out of the town, we'll arrive at the Ventanilla wetlands. Here we'll climb aboard the boat that will take us around the mangrove forests of the region - seeing the different kinds of birds and reptiles endemic to the region, such as the exotic iguana.
The Mangrove tour continues to the Ventanilla Island, where you can see more of the exotic local wildlife, such as the white-tailed deer and the spider monkey!
Afterwards, we'll go to the beaches of Mazunte and Zipolite, two coastal villages in Oaxaca. We'll spend half an hour in these paradisiacal surroundings so that you can relax on the peaceful coastline. Lastly, we'll make a stop in Puerto Ángel, where you'll have free time to have a bite to eat in a local restaurant.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 8 hours of sightseeing.
