Are you looking for activites in Isla Aguada? This kayak tour will take us to explore the area's mangroves while getting a bit of good exercise. We'll also do some bird watching to see the native species that call the Términos Lagoon home.
Tour Highlights
At your selected time, we'll meet at the dock on Marina Boulevard, where we will be waiting for you with the kayaks. Ready to sail around Isla Aguada?
We'll board the boats, and after giving you some tips on how to paddle properly, we'll set off on this aquatic route, entering one of the streams that flow into the Laguna de Términos. In this area, we will see the different types of mangroves, such as the red, piloncillo, and black mangroves. We'll let you in on tons of fascinating fun facts along the way.
After exploring the mangrove area, we will head over to the Isla de los Pájaros, a protected natural area famous for being an important nesting place for birds. With a little luck, we will be able to spot herons, pelicans, cormorants, and many other species. Keep your eyes peeled!
After two or two and a half hours of paddling around, depending on the pace of the group, we'll finish the kayak tour back at the departure dock.
