Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo to begin a tour of this coastal town in Guerrero. Let's go!
After a 20-minute drive, we'll reach the Mirador the Ixtapa, a viewpoint where we’ll be greeted with the best start to the tour, featuring breathtaking views of the ocean, the islets, and the city’s hotel zone. Don't forget to take photos of the Ixtapa sign at such a high altitude! Next, we'll head over to the Mirador El Partenón de Zihuatanejo. This spot is known for its controversial history. Curious to know more? We’ll tell you all about it!
After enjoying views of the Zihuatanejo Bay, we'll make our way to the Capricho del Rey seafront promenade. From here, we'll admire La Ropa Beach and we'll get to know the statue of Tanganxoan II, the last Indigenous emperor in the region, that reflects Ixtapa's cultural richness. Afterwards, we'll visit the city's historical centre, where we'll stroll down the Socle, the Paseo del Pescador seafront promenade, and the main pier. Additionally, we'll walk along La Madera Beach, immersing ourselves in the life and spirit of this coastal village.
Our last stop will be at the artisanal market on Calle 5 de Mayo, where you'll be able to buy a local souvenir in the region. After visiting the market shops, we'll begin our return journey back to your hotel, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 4 hours.
