At the indicated time, we'll meet at Mantarraya, La Playita to begin our marine adventure. Once introductions are made, we'll provide you with all the necessary equipment for snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez. Let's go!
Our marine journey begins as we board the boat and sail offshore through the crystal clear waters of Baja California Sur. Along the way, we'll go in search of the most popular residents that frequent the waters in Los Cabos: playful dolphins, majestic manta rays, curious sharks and, depending on the season, impressive whales. The excitement will be palpable as we scan the horizon for movement—a wild expedition from start to finish!
When hunger strikes, we'll replenish our energies with delicious burritos on board. You'll have several options to choose including beans with cheese, beef, fish, chorizo, and even vegan versions. Talk about a tasty break in the middle of the ocean!
Once we reach the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, we'll have the opportunity to dive into the Sea of Cortez and become part of its world. We'll be able to swim among colorful fish, turtles, rays and, with a little luck, cross paths with a dolphin. The sensation of being surrounded by so much marine life is sure to leave you with lifelong memories. Did you know that Jacques Cousteau described this sea as “the aquarium of the world” and you'll soon find out why!
After several carefully planned stops to spot marine animals and snorkel, we'll return to the starting point to say goodbye after a total of 4 to 5 hours of experience.
