Learn about the history of northern Sinaloa & see some of the most unique regional plants on this tour of Los Mochis.
Los Mochis Tour
At 10 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Los Mochis. From where we'll travel by minibus to the center, where we'll set off on an interesting tour of this coastal city of Sinaloa.
First, we'll cross through the central square of Plazuela 27 de Septiembre until we reach the Sacred Heart Church, where we'll learn about the history of the Owen family. Who were they, you ask? We'll tell you all kinds of curious facts about this family during the tour! Then, we'll learn all about the past of Los Mochis while admiring two of its most representative museums: the Museo Regional del Valle del Fuerte and the Museo Trapiche.
We'll also tour the area around the Ingenio Theater, which has become a cultural landmark. Next, we'll enter the Benjamin Francis Johnston Botanical Garden. We'll visit some of its themed areas, like the xerophytic garden and the Estrella del Oriente garden, where you'll see the most unique species of plants.
At noon, you'll be taken back to your hotel, concluding the tour.
