At the designated time, we'll meet at Hotel Parque Mexico Boutique, in the heart of Condesa. From here, we'll board a minibus and set off to Tepoztlán, one of Mexico's most charming Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Town). On this approximately 2-hour journey, we'll tell you some facts about the route.
To start the day with energy, we'll stop at a typical restaurant, where you can enjoy a traditional Mexican breakfast on your own. It's the perfect place to try chilaquiles, tamales, and a delicious café de olla!
After breakfast, we'll start our hike toward the summit of Cerro Tepozteco. During the route, which lasts about 3 hours in total, we'll explore the lush vegetation of the mountain and enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley. Amazing!
Once we finish our hike, we'll return to the town and revitalize with one of the most famous delicacies of Tepoztlán: artisanal nieves. With a variety of flavors such as mamey, zapote negro, or rose petals—you'll have a hard time choosing one!
Then, you'll have 50 minutes of free time to stroll along its cobblestone streets, visit the Tepoztlán Ex Convento Museum, explore the artisanal market, and enjoy a drink.
At the agreed time, we'll meet in front of the town church to start our journey back to Mexico City. Finally, we'll reach the meeting point and say our goodbyes after a total of 9.5 hours.
