Trip Details
Day 1: Cuernavaca & Taxco
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City or the airport at 8:30 am to head to Cuernavaca, aka the City of Eternal Spring. How'd it get that name, you ask? Come and find out!
We'll start with a panoramic tour of this colonial city, visiting monuments such as the Cathedral, the 5th oldest cathedral in Mexico, and the Palace of Hernán Cortés, the infamous Spanish conquistador.
After the visit to Cuernavaca, we'll head to Taxco, famous for being the silver capital of the world. We'll stroll through Taxco and visit the Church of Santa Prisca, a beautiful example of Churrigueresque art, and pass by the silver artisan workshops. You'll also have time for shopping and lunch on your own.
After the tour, we'll take you to the hotel in Taxco where you'll spend the night.
Day 2: Taxco
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll have the day free to do some of the activities proposed by the guide, relax at the hotel, or continue discovering the wonders of Taxco. For this day, we recommend you take the guided tour of Taxco. You'll love it!
Finally, we'll meet again to take you back to Mexico City and drop you off at your hotel. Arrival in the capital is scheduled for 5 pm.
