At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the BBVA bank on Calle de la Palma, right in the historic center of Mexico City. From this spot, we'll begin this walking tour that will take us to the soul of the Mexican capital to journey through its history, art, and livelihood.
We'll begin by seeing the imposing Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral, one of the oldest and largest cathedrals in America. We'll explore its halls for 15 minutes while sharing the secrets of its Baroque and Colonial architecture, as well as its connection with its viceroyal past.
Next to this cathedral, you'll find the Templo Mayor, one of the main remains of the grand Tenōchtitlan. For 20 minutes, we'll tell you about the sacred symbolism of this ancient Mexican capital. You'll be amazed by what is still preserved under the modern city!
