Puerto Vallarta Culture Tour
At 8:20 am on the morning of the tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the marina to start this exciting tour through Puerto Vallarta.
Our first stop will be a beautiful urban tile mosaic, a mural created by the famous artist Natasha Moraga. Then, we'll visit the El Salado Estuary, a protected natural oasis full of mangroves, marshes and pastures. Keep your eyes peeled: we may even see crocodiles!
Next, your guide will take you to the waterfront, where you'll find the famous Boy on the Seahorse statue, the colonial Malecon Arches, among other surprises. We'll continue on until we reach Cuale Island, where we'll briefly explore the different areas dedicated to art, dance, folklore and Mexican culture.
After stopping at a typical bakery to try a caramelized local delicacy, the group will visit a jewelry workshop, where you'll learn all about their specialty: fire opals and silver casting. From there, the tour will move to a private viewpoint near Conchas Chinas beach to take in sweeping views of Banderas Bay and to snap some photos.
You'll also get the chance to explore the area of Las Juntas y Los Veranos and visit Bastón del Rey Tequila Distillery, where you'll learn all about the tequila distillation process and then get a taste for yourself!
At the end of the tour, your guide will take the group to the river to admire the lush jungle and, if you'd like, you can even try a typical dish at a local restaurant. At 2:20 pm, we will take you back to your pickup location and the tour will finish.
