On this tour of the churches of Campeche, we'll make a total of 9 stops. We'll first stop at the Jesuit church of San José and then we'll visit the Cathedral of Campeche. Inside this imposing temple, dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, we'll admire a magnificent atrium made of marble and brick.
Then, we'll continue our tour of Campeche by visiting the churches of San Francisco, San Francisquito, and San Juan de Dios. As we'll see, all these monuments have a beautiful colonial architecture that we'll appreciate during the tour. We'll also learn about the main works of sacred art that are in these temples.
Next, we'll visit the churches of Santa Ana and Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. After discovering the emotive art in these churches, we'll go to the church of Dulce Nombre de Jesús. Do you know why its facade is painted in such an intense yellow? We'll find out!
