Santa Rita Winery Tour & Tasting Itinerary
Chilean wine has a long history dating back to the 16th century and the Maipo Valley is one of the country's most important wine-producing regions. After being picked up from your hotel in Santiago de Chile, you'll make your way south into the beautiful countryside surrounding the Maipo River, where vines stretch as far as the eye can see.
Arriving at the Santa Rita Winery, a leading Chilean winemaker, you'll begin your guided tour of the wine cellars, learning all about the tradition of winemaking here. The historic Bodega de los 120 Patriotas - The Wine Cellar of 120 Patriots - is an essential stop on this visit, where you'll discover the incredible importance this place had in the Chilean independence movement.
Following your tour, you'll enjoy a tasting of three varieties of mature wine, and there will also be the opportunity for you to purchase a bottle or two if you'd like.
At the end of your excursion, you'll return back to Santiago de Chile.

After the guided tour around the Santa Rita winery, we'll start our tasting of 4 different wines, 2 Gran Reserve and 2 Premium wines. These wines will be accompanied by both cheese and small crackers.
Premium Tour
To make the most of your tour of the Santa Rita bodegas, there is the option to reserve the premium guided tour, which includes a more detailed tour of the vineyard and a visit to the Centennial Park, the spectacular gardens of the Casa Real Hotel. Designed in Parisian style, the beautiful green space is also home to a magnificent Neo-Gothic chapel.
Following the guided tour, you'll then taste 4 premium quality wines. While enjoying the tastes and aromas of these excellent wines, you'll also be served a cheese board and dried fruits to accompany the tasting. A true luxury experience in small groups of no more than 8 people!
Hotel Pick Up
This tour includes a pick up and drop-off service at hotels in the following areas of Santiago de Chile: Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura and Santiago Centro. If your accommodation is located in a different district, your guide will contact you to arrange an alternative meeting point.
