At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Aguascalientes to begin our journey towards the Museum of the Insurgency, located at the Pabellón de Hidalgo, in the municipality of Rincón de Romos. In about 30 minutes, we'll arrive at this iconic space dedicated to the history of the Mexican War of Independence.
During a 1.5-hour guided tour, we'll tour its rooms full of objects, documents and stories that will transport us to one of the country's most decisive eras. Did you know that this museum is located inside a building that is directly linked to the insurgent events?
After soaking up the history, we'll head for the Hacienda Garabato, an architectural jewel dating back to the 17th century. During our 1-hour tour, we'll discover its importance in the development of agriculture and livestock farming in the region, as well as the secrets hidden in its ancient rooms and courtyards.
Our next stop will be a vineyard that forms part of the famous wine route. There, we'll delve into the fascinating world of oenology with a tasting of three wines. An expert will guide us through the nuances, aromas and flavours of these exquisite varieties, a real pleasure for the palate!
At the end of the tasting, you'll have free time for lunch before heading back to Aguascalientes. Finally, you'll be dropped off at your hotel after a total of 7 hours.
