At the designated time, we'll meet at The Yak Lake House, located on the shores of Lake Bacalar. Here, we'll provide you with the necessary equipment: life jackets, paddles, and kayaks. Before starting, you'll listen to the safety instructions and practical advice so you feel comfortable and ready to paddle.
As we paddle, you'll be amazed by the crystal-clear waters of the famous Lagoon of Sevel Colors and its incredible variety of blue hues. It'll be like kayaking on a canvas!
During the journey, we'll pass the Canal de los Piratas, "The Pirate Canal", a site filled with history and stories. Did you know this place was used for corsairs in the 18th century? We'll also kayak along the Laguna Mariscal, a tranquil corner with fewer tourists that will be perfect for you to fully connect with nature.
As the sun begins to set on the horizon, the colors of the sky will reflect on the lake's waters, creating an unforgettable scene. This natural spectacle will leave you breathless!
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point and say our goodbyes after 2.5 hours of kayaking.
