On this 7-day tour, we’ll travel through Guadalajara, Tequila, and Puerto Vallarta. From the colonial architecture and traditions of Jalisco to sunsets over the Pacific, this journey will show you the best of western Mexico. Are you ready for the adventure?
Tour Details
Day 1: Guadalajara
We’ll meet you upon arrival at Guadalajara International Airport and take you to the hotel to begin the tour.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore the historic center. We’ll pass by the Cathedral, the Degollado Theatre, and lively squares to discover the colonial architecture and monuments that tell the story of one of the country’s most important cities. We’ll end the day back at the hotel to rest.
Day 2: Lake Chapala - Ajijic - Tlaquepaque
After breakfast, we’ll explore some of the most charming places in Jalisco. We’ll visit Lake Chapala, where you’ll enjoy its peaceful mountain scenery. We’ll continue to the picturesque town of Ajijic, full of color and art galleries, perfect for a walk.
Finally, we’ll stop in Tlaquepaque, known for its traditional atmosphere, high-quality handicrafts, and mariachi music filling the streets. We’ll return to the hotel in Guadalajara to rest.
Day 3: Tequila
After breakfast, we’ll head to the heart of the tequila-producing region to visit 2 traditional distilleries. You’ll learn about the production process of this iconic drink, from harvesting the agave to its final transformation.
You’ll also have time to enjoy the atmosphere of the Magical Town of Tequila, walking through its streets surrounded by agave landscapes declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll spend the night in Tequila.
Day 4: Guachimontones - Amatitán - Tequila
On the fourth day, we’ll visit the archaeological site of Guachimontones, unique for its circular structures.
Later, we’ll explore the natural landscapes of Amatitán. Surrounded by agave fields and mountains, we’ll learn about the connection between the land and the cultural identity of the region.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Tequila.
Day 5: Tequila - Puerto Vallarta
Ready for day 5? After breakfast, we’ll leave Tequila behind and head toward the Pacific coast. Along the way, you’ll see how the landscape gradually becomes more tropical.
Upon arrival in Puerto Vallarta, you’ll have free time to try local food, walk along the Malecón, and relax by the ocean. We’ll spend the night in in Puerto Vallarta.
Day 6: Puerto Vallarta
On the sixth day, we’ll enjoy a horseback ride near the coast in the morning, a different way to experience the natural surroundings. The rest of the afternoon will be free to enjoy the beach, relax at the hotel, or explore the area.
Day 7: Puerto Vallarta
You’ll have free time to enjoy the final hours of the tour by the Pacific. At the agreed time, we’ll take you to Puerto Vallarta Airport in time for your return flight.

The tour includes 6 nights of accommodation in a double room in the following 4-star hotels:
- Guadalajara (2 nights): Hotel de Mendoza or a similar option
- Tequila (2 nights): Hotel Casa Dulce María or a similar option
- Puerto Vallarta (2 nights): Hotel Mio Vallarta or a similar option
Important Info
On the first day, your flight must arrive in Guadalajara before 3 pm to join the city tour. On the last day, the transfer to Puerto Vallarta Airport will be scheduled according to your departure flight time.
