Would you like to discover authentic natural wonders and a colonial gem of the Yucatan? On this day trip, we'll visit two impressive cenotes and the Pueblo Mágico of Valladolid—you'll love it!
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point you choose in Mérida. After a quick stop to buy water and snacks, we'll set off towards our first destination.
After a 2.5-hour journey, we'll arrive at the Suytun cenote, a fascinating grotto that will surprise you with its beauty. Equipped with life jackets, you'll have time to swim, explore the magical natural illumination and take photos of this Instagrammable spot. We'll also witness a purification ritual performed by Mayan warriors, a moment full of mysticism and tradition!
After 1.5 hours in Suytun, we'll return to the vehicle to go to the Oxman cenote, located in the San Lorenzo hacienda. This open cenote invites you to swim in its crystalline waters and relax in the hammocks.
At the hacienda San Lorenzo, we'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. You'll be served tlalpeño broth, chilaquiles, chayitas, chicken mole, poc chuc, cochinita pibil, among other Yucatecan specialities.
With renewed energy, we'll travel to Valladolid, where we'll walk through its streets full of history for a total of 2 hours. We'll visit iconic places such as the cathedral, the convent, the calzada de los Frailes and the Choco Story museum. You'll also have free time to stroll around the main square, do some shopping and have your photo taken next to the famous Valladolid letters.
After this last stop, we'll make our way back to Mérida, where we'll conclude this 12-hour tour full of culture, nature and fun.

Although children under 4 travel for free, they will have to sit on a parent or guardian's lap, as they won't have their own seat.
