Taste one of the most popular drinks in Mexico and enjoy a walk through the agave fields on this Etúcuaro mezcal distillery and hiking tour from Morelia.
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Morelia and head towards the village of Etúcuaro.
Upon arrival, we'll make our way to a hill located next to the town to fly down a 1 kilometre zip line. As well as giving us an unforgettable rush of adrenaline, the zip line will also allow us to enjoy unparalleled views of the agave fields and the town of Etúcuaro from a height of 200 metres.
Next, we'll arrive at a mezcal distillery. Did you know that Etúcuaro is one of the largest producers of mezcal in Mexico? After touring the distillery, you'll have the opportunity to taste the popular drink.
You'll then have an hour of free time in the village to get lunch or explore at your leisure. Refreshed, we'll set off on a 40-minute hike that will take us to see a 90-metre-tall waterfall and a suspension bridge. In addition, we'll climb up to a glass viewing platform so we can gaze out at beautiful panoramic views.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Morelia, arriving at 6 pm.
To round off your experience, you can add a quad bike ride to the activity described above. You'll have a blast riding these vehicles around Etúcuaro's hills!
