We will pick you up from your hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas at the time of your choice for a very special tour of one of the Magical Towns of Chiapas.
We will lose ourselves among its cobblestone streets while we learn about the history of the foundation of the city in 1528 by Diego de Mazariegos with the help of Mexica, Tlaxcalteca, and Mayan people. We will stop to admire the church of Carmen and its famous 17th-century arch, an example of Chiapas Mudejar art.
Afterward, we will arrive at the neuralgic point of the city, the 31 de Marzo square. Here stands an imposing neoclassical building: the MUSAC. This museum is responsible for compiling and displaying the cultural legacy of San Cristobal de las Casas.
Nearby is the San Cristobal Martyr's Cathedral, the emblem of the municipality. We will be able to admire its elegant façade of baroque, Mudejar, and neoclassical elements, and its grand decoration of motifs made in mortar.
