On our Bacalar Lagoon Private Sailing Trip, you'll discover some of the most breathtaking places of this magical spot in Quintana Roo. You'll also have the exclusive experience of being on a sailboat just for you.
Bacalar Lagoon Private Sailing Trip
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose from two different options. Both options start and finish on Avenida 5 and include an English-speaking guide, a private sailing trip, as well as water, beer, fruit and guacamole on board.
4-Hour Sailing Trip
On this sailing trip, we'll enjoy a pleasant crossing of the Bacalar Lagoon. As we float along this beautiful lagoon, you'll see how its blue colour blends into seven different shades.
During our sailing trip, we'll travel through Pirates Channel, Birds Island and the mysterious Black Cenote. While we're here, we'll reveal the legend of the old witch... We'll also see around the lagoon one of the first living beings to inhabit the Earth: the stromatolites. At first glance, they may look like corals, but their function relates more to terrestrial oxygen. Fascinating!
6-Hour Sailing Trip
If you opt for the 6-hour trip, we'll take you to many more of Bacalar Lagoon's dreamlike places. These include Pirates Channel, Cocos Island, the Esmeralda Cenote, Boca rapids, and the ruins of an abandoned hotel. This last spot is also the subject of dark and tenebrous theories...
We'll then enjoy a delicious fresh Mexican ceviche that can be made of ceviche, fish, or a mix. Bon appétit!
You'll also have the opportunity to attend a sailing lesson with a professional instructor who'll teach you to understand and master the wind, what the different parts of the boat mean and the linguistic technicalities of a sailor.
