At the indicated time, we'll meet at Boulevard Costero, 2, in Bacalar to set sail on an unforgettable private boat cruise on Lake Bacalar.
We'll enjoy a 2.5-hour boat tour, during which we'll get to admire the Black Cenote, the Emerald Cenote, and the Pirates Channel, a strategic point that connects the lake with the Bay of Chetumal. Did you know that in the past this came under numerous attacks by pirates?
During the cruise, we'll also pass by the Isla de los Pájaros, or Birds' Island, to see the parrots, owls, larks and sparrow hawks that inhabit this beautiful spot. What's more, this area is home to stromatolites, and unusual rock formations that were key to the development of life on our planet. Make sure to keep an eye out!
On the boat trip, you'll also have the opportunity to dive into the turquoise waters of Lake Bacalar whenever you want. Who fancies a dip? Additionally, you'll have an onboard section of seasonal fruit and 2 drinks per person, to choose between beer, soft drinks, and water.
Finally, after 2.5 hours in total, we'll return to the starting point.
